portfolio & QR codes

Tonight in class, we started off by creating our own personal portfolio page through Google sites. I have never worked with Google sites before so I learned a lot. I really enjoyed personalizing it and exploring all the different things you could do with it. I am looking forward to adding more and more content throughout the semester to my portfolio page.

After working on our portfolio, we changed shifts to focus on QR codes. Prior to this class, I did not even know what QR codes were until I saw a picture of one. After learning about them, I found them extremely cool. There are so many different ways you can use them - advertisements, linking to a website/video clip/text, etc. You can also use them in the classroom! For my QR project I created a math worksheet with 10 problems for students to solve. Then, I created 10 QR codes with the solutions for each problem!

I found this class extremely informative and productive. I am excited to use the information I learned in the classroom!
